Safe Towing
Safe and reliable towing is fundamental to every Eco-Trailer. From design and engineering through to final inspection, our enclosed car trailers are built to deliver stable, predictable, and fully compliant towing performance in real-world conditions.
We are committed to supporting customers beyond delivery. You may find helpful guidance in our FAQ section, and we also provide a growing library of video tutorials covering towing, setup, and ownership tips. If you’re ever unsure, simply pick up the phone and speak to our team — we’re always happy to help.
For independent guidance on towing regulations and best practice, we recommend the National Trailer & Towing Association. Eco-Trailer is also a member of the NTTA, reflecting our commitment to industry standards, safety, and compliance.
All Eco-Trailer enclosed car trailers are supplied with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and are fully compliant with European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA). We also hold UK (GB) Type Approval, ensuring our trailers are legal for road use in both the UK and Europe.
Customers towing abroad should be aware that trailer registration is now required for both private and business use when travelling in Europe. We have a step-by-step video guide in our Support section explaining how to register your trailer with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and what is required before travelling.
Our aim is simple: to ensure every Eco-Trailer customer can tow safely, legally, and with confidence.
