Eco-Trailer is a Teesside-based manufacturer of premium enclosed car transport trailers, supplying the Velocity, ApexPro, and Eco-Shuttle ranges.

All trailers are designed, engineered, and built in-house, using specialist facilities for chassis fabrication, composite body production, assembly, and inspection. With over 25 years’ experience in vehicle transport and motorsport, we build trailers trusted for professional use and enthusiast ownership alike.

Knott-Avonride is the UK arm of the Knott Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of trailer axles, overrun braking systems, couplings and running gear for light and commercial trailers. Manufacturing axles in Wales, Knott-Avonride supplies OEM and aftermarket solutions engineered for durability, safety and consistent performance under load. Their systems are widely used across the UK trailer industry and supported by strong technical backup and parts availability.

Trailer Axles, Suspension & Coupling Development

Eco-Trailer ProDynamics is our in-house engineering and development programme, focused on the procurement, development, and refinement of axles, suspension systems, and coupling technology under the ProDynamics brand. Developed by Eco-Trailer, ProDynamics brings our engineering knowledge and real-world experience together to create running gear solutions that go beyond standard off-the-shelf offerings.

This ongoing work drives continuous improvement in ride quality, stability, and durability, while ensuring our running gear integrates seamlessly with Eco-Trailer chassis and body designs.

Tires & Wheel Solutions

Kenda is a global tyre manufacturer supplying tyres and wheel solutions for trailer, caravan, industrial, agricultural and specialty applications. In the UK, Kenda’s European operations support OEM tyre specifications and bespoke wheel/tyre assemblies for trailer manufacturers.

Chainbridge Steel Group is a UK-based independent steel stockholder supplying sheet, plate and processed steel into automotive, heavy engineering, construction, offshore and renewables sectors. Their materials are used in structural fabrications, precision-cut components and load-bearing assemblies, with in-house processing supporting manufacturers that require consistent quality and dependable supply at scale.

Advanced Technical Panels (ATP) is the UK’s leading specialist distributor of pre-finished plywood, film-faced, polymer and technical sheet materials, supplying engineered panel products used in flooring, body panels, bracing, ramps and other structural applications. OUR MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Our chassis are fabricated in-house using high-strength materials and precision processes to deliver exceptional rigidity, durability, and towing performance. Every chassis is engineered to withstand real-world, day-in, day-out use.

All Eco-Trailer models are designed and continuously refined using advanced CAD systems. Our in-house R&D ensures ongoing improvements in strength, usability, weight distribution, and long-term performance.

Our assembly team brings each trailer together with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every component is fitted correctly, consistently, and to specification before progressing to final inspection.

Each trailer is fitted with a sealed, reliable wiring loom, designed for durability and consistent performance. We install and integrate electrical systems in-house, including lighting, battery systems, solar charging, winches, cameras, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring everything is neatly fitted and functions as intended.

Our composite specialists manufacture and form each fibreglass body shell in-house, delivering strong, lightweight structures with excellent durability and long-term performance.

Every monocoque composite body is carefully prepared, refined, and finished to ensure a smooth, consistent appearance and a high-quality final result. This attention to detail ensures long-lasting durability and a professional finish across every trailer.

Every trailer undergoes a structured quality control process, checking fit, finish, and correct specification before completion. We record serial numbers and key dimensions for batch production, supporting both UK (GB) and EU type approval requirements. Each trailer is then cleaned, prepared, and inspected prior to collection or delivery.

Our parts and accessories shop provides a range of genuine Eco-Trailer components, upgrades, and consumables, supporting maintenance, repairs, and retrofittable enhancements to keep trailers performing as intended.

We offer a personal delivery service, delivering your trailer directly to your door or an agreed location. Every handover is carried out in a friendly, unhurried manner, ensuring you are confident and ready to use your Eco-Trailer from day one.
